About
Ron grew up in East Aurora, IL and graduated from UIC after a 4-year stint in the US Army. Ron has been at UIC for nearly 30 years as a researcher, lab manager and now Sci Store Director. He is kind of geeky because he truly believes university-based research can make the world a better place. Ron has an appreciation for fine cigars, good red wine and bad heavy metal music.
